Woman To Woman
It is the middle of the night. A woman is stranded in the middle of nowhere. Should she get in the car with a stranger? What if it is someone she should trust? Another woman.
Building on my first short, (Can The Moon Walk Me Home?), Woman To Woman looks at similar themes of women's safety, but through a different lens. This is a dark comedy that I wrote, directed and edited. It was inspired by the curiosity of the female experience in public spaces in a more existential way, using humour to express feelings of paranoia and fear. It confronts the meaning of trusting a stranger, even when that stranger is a woman. Projection. Fear. Confusion. And a bit of silliness.
A team of people gave up their talent and time to help on this project and I am so grateful.
